The final week of August saw the conclusion of the Melbourne Esports Open (MEO) and subsequently Oddity Esports’ first ever LAN event. The conclusion of July has also seen the conclusion of Oddity Esports’ PUBG team. The team has done amazing work under our banner and we could not be more proud of them. We have worked closely with the team and seen them grow and manage to qualify for the ESL Pro Circuit at which they competed throughout the duration of Phase 2.

What? Fighting Game Community?

Australia has a thriving community centered around fighting games. In the past, Oddity has focused on First Person Shooter (FPS) games and has been our bread and butter. However with a lot of diligent research, we have ecstatically entered into the Fighting Game Community (FGC) with the addition of GooGie, our new Mortal Kombat 11 (MK11) player.

Community Social Event 2019

Oddity Esports hosted a bootcamp for their Rainbow Six Siege, Pro League team throughout the month of June. Four members of the team were flown into Melbourne, with two members already residing in Victoria. They were all put up in accommodation for six days to complete a rigorous training and team bonding regime.
