Oddity Esports hosted a bootcamp for their Rainbow Six Siege, Pro League team throughout the month of June. Four members of the team were flown into Melbourne, with two members already residing in Victoria. They were all put up in accommodation for six days to complete a rigorous training and team bonding regime.

Oddity worked closely with our friends at GIC Esports, an internet café with leading PC systems and also Victoria’s first Nvidia Approved gaming cafe. GIC were excellent hosts and worked with us to allow access to their venue and PC’s throughout the duration of the team’s bootcamp.

The team was put through their paces, putting a large focus on a schedule involving mindfulness and mental fortitude training, strategy sessions, team bonding exercises and of course grueling hours of scrimmaging into the early morning.

With our entire Rainbow Six Siege team in once place for an extended period of time, it presented an excellent opportunity to hold a community event. As such on the 1 st of June, Oddity Esports held our first Community event at GIC Esports. This provided an amazing opportunity to finally meet some of our supporters and the broader community face to face. Allowing us to greatly involve all of our existing partners Tomahawk Jerky, Zenox Australia and Razer and also organise a few competitions to give back to our amazing community.

This was the first of many bootcamps and social events to come, if you were not able to make it down to GIC, we thoroughly look forward to meeting you at the next one. Again a massive thank you to GIC Esports for having us, and Tomahawk Jerky, Zenox Australia and Razer for coming along, providing their products and meeting this amazing community with us.
